I am a widowed woman with a child with adhd, I basically sold my house couldnt afford to live there and bought a twin unit and put it on my land which I now run as a pony rescue centre the council hate it I have an enforcement order - which is now becoming a desperate situation - my planning consultant ballsed up an appeal I have been generally harrassed off the council, the council bloke kept on calling me darling and being smarmy (what the hell was he after) Im not affecting anyone what does it matter ?

Its not good to upset Planners; best you find alternative accommodation until you receive permit to dwell on your land.

OK, well you are entitled to your opinion, and your opinion is that you are not harming anyone and the neighbours aren't fussed.
Planning consent doesn't work like that; the basic premise for granting is if the local area planning policy permits what you are seeking to do. Outside of that, there are of course various reasons and room for compromise, but you are at the far, far end of where there may be room for compromise. The reason is that open agriculture land is regarded a precious and central and local Government doesn't want it built on (not do many of the electorate). The use that you are proposing for the agricultural land (horses and stables) is probably fine but you will find amazing difficulty in pursuading any of these organisations that a residential unit as well is acceptable.
