Being stopped by the police
During the last 2 years I have been breath tested by the police 17 times and the readings have always been zero.
In addition I have been taken down the police station on 5 occasions in relation to crimes in the local area. On 4 occasions the police were able to prove I had committed no offence and on 1 occasion there was no evidence that I had or had not committed the crime other than the report.
I have asked for the reasons for these incidents and the police have stated they had received reports I had been drinking excessively.
On 6 of the occasions I had been in a pub drinking sparkling water and orange juice and on the other occasions I had not consumed any alcahol.
I think somebody must have a grudge. I am just wandering if I can make the police take any action against this person/s as it is a waste of police time and mine.

Going by logic drink driving has to be acted on quickly so the police have to stop you regardless.
After the other arrests the police are probably being more careful about arresting you and they may be aware somebody is wasting police time but they are waiting for evidence or trying to catch the person.

Hi Nox
As far as the suspected drink driving is concerned I do not think I can blame individual officers.
On all occasions except 1 it has been different officers and in the 1 case after he breath tested me he said have we met before?.
He could not even remember if it was anything to do with the police force and when we thought back it was nearly 15 months since he breath tested me so it is understandable it took a bit of time for the penny to drop.
In all fairness I did not remember him till that point.
I really think somebody who has a grudge is causing the problem and not the police.
I will write to the chief constable and I will see what happens.

Hi ummmm
I can see why the police are ignoring reports against you if it is for non dangerous crimes.
I do not think the police will ignore drink driving reports as a drunk driver is a danger to the public.
I would have however thought if somebody kept reporting Dave on their own phone's then the previous calls would have flashed up.
They could be calling from public phones.
