Anyone have any experience with pub watch schemes

Have you ever been part of or even banned from a pub under pub watch scheme.
me and my wife were asked to leave a pub after a very drunk man wouldn't leave us alone.
Tryed to explain to the landlord that I only raised my voice because being polite didn't work but we were still asked to leave.once out side tried once again to explain but no good.
As walked away my wife seemed to think the landlord said we were barred.
I wasn't worried by that as I would never go there again but a friend told me if the pub was under the pub watch scheme I could be barred from all pubs in the area.
I was told to go back and speak to him but to be fair if he never listened to me the first time. Pub is what I think of is a very locals pub and I'm not local.
So if I'm banned how could i find out and what could i do about it ..

I'm no longer pub/clubwatc hed...I was put on it indefinitely .
It was only when other members of the scheme threatened to withdraw from using it that the club that barred me took me off it.
I am still barred from said club.
It cost the club 10,000 pounds to pursue their case against me for making the accusations ....they lost ;0)

it's probably an exclusion notice scheme withdrawing your right to enter licensed premises if it has been applied for, but to apply for it the lanlord has to privide your name and address to apply for the exclusion to either the licensing authority or the police, if they don't have that info it is an idle threat.
this is what Wilkipedia says which suggest that it, management, is more at the local level, that is not to say that the police and courts can't feed into them:

I used to run an off-licence and joined a similar scheme, meeting once a month with other retailers (not really out of choice, the police harass you enough until you do). Can't remember too much about how and why you end up on such bans, I spent most of the meetings readjusting the matchsticks for my eyes!
