in 1968 i broke my leg playing football. complications set in and i was in hospital for 12 months. i returned to work for a further 19 years and because of arthritis in my injured leg i was offered early retirement. i accepted £15000 and a pension. my accidental insurance would not pay me stating there was a pre-condition ( ie my broken leg) my pension (about£250 a week)stops me getting help ie glasses, housing benefit ect,
a former colleague told me there was an industrial injury benefit that i may be able to claim because i was representing my company in the original football match. do you think this is possible?
