Complaint About Music??
My local council gave part of boundary to neighbour after passing this to Local Government Ombudsman they were made to write letter to me saying sorry.
However, since this my council tell me they have had complaints regarding noise nuisance coming from my property. yesterday Anti Social Behaviour Officer had appointment to visit me but there was someone else who came out with her, I was told it was regarding my music l do not play before 8am or after 11pm been the same level for past 19 years. Asked was there more than one person told all complaints could have come from one person and that l had been monitored since February, and will continue for next three months.
Asked what have l done wrong only tell me music asked why hasn’t anyone approach me? To say it was bothering them? saying l told them they were victimizing me because of the outcome of The Ombudsman.
I had damage and problems last year regarding my neighbours but the council was not interested in helping me. I have times and dates when l am kept up all night with the dogs barking as they work nights, but the council were not interested.
What are my rights?

If they work nights, loud music in the day will keep them awake - I'd complain too, but I'd speak to you about it first, to see if a reasonably agreement could be reached.
i'm not sure what you mean by "what are my rights". If your music is NOT causing a nuisance, there will be no problems will there? If however it is causing a nuisance (and i have to say i'm with boxtops here about the timings and loudness), then the council will deal with it as they would anyone else, regardless of any history - they are treating it as a seperate incident, as they should do. If i was your neighbour, and i had a history with you i may well not be inclined to speak to you about it.
Are you saying you play music from 8am=11pm?
