Estoppel Question Advise Needed

Me and my partner live in my parents house for 15 years now they want me out in the past on numerous occasions they have promised me and my partner the house but nothing on paper
The deeds are in there name and we have never paid any rent or mortgage but we have spent money on the property over 10 years about 15k . Do I have any chance of keeping the house or staying here we have 2 children the solicitor had advised me of estoppel saying that you parents have broken there promise?Additional DetailsI forgot to mention me and my husband are separated know he is saying that no promise was made I have a witness to the promise but we did apply for local housing housing register waiting for a house will that have any significance ?
As the landlords are saying one of the conditions of staying there was that you stay on the hosing register.
In other words we did not reply to our detriment can this act bee taken like this ?

tiger, i'm no lawyer, but For Funks Sake anyone with half a brain (and no green eyes) can work out for themselves:
*You have no chance of winning a court case (no evidence whatsoever)
*when you lose.....you will owe your lawyers a huge sum of money, and their lawyers a huge sum of money
*of course adhd doesn't stop an eviction - anyone advising you it will is talking out of their arse
*you can go to your local council, apply as homeless and get temporary, then permanent low cost housing

if this isn't enough for you, then quite frankly you will get what you deserve.

why do you feel so hard done by? you have had more advantage than most people will have in a lifetime, but clearly are not satisfied with that. let's be truthful here - in no way do you own that house, or will be able to sue for that house. when the judge says....'and what proof do you have that the house is promised to you?'......and you have nothing. except a huge chip on your shoulder.

So now you are going to rely on money that your ex paid for stuff? What, exactly, did ou put into the house (cleaning it doesn't count), financial input out of your pocket, out of your money (not your husband's money hat went into your account and then your spent)?
