Lost Jessie J Tickets
14 Answers
At the beginning of the year I bought 2 tickets to see Jessie J this Friday. I have since misplaced and even after having torn the house apart I can't find them. I have emailed the Forestry Commission, who are holding the concert, and they have said they cannot replace them. I have an account with them which shows my purchase history and I have a confirmation email stating I bought them. How do I stand in law? Surely with all this proof I have some rights. I would really appreciate some advice.

If it were a seated arena, it might be possible to stops anyone with those tickets at the door and prove that no one is in the seats other than you.
Either way and to answer your question, you have no rights under the law without the originals. Keep looking, you will have put them in a very safe place.

You will have agreed to the terms and conditions when you purchased these ticketshttp://www.forestry.gov.uk/forestry/INFD-6JSE59
See point three about taking care of your tickets as no duplicates will be issued.
I'm afraid you don't seem to have any grounds to pursue this. It is also industry standard practice not to do duplicates I think.

T & C from the website says
3. Please take care of tickets as duplicates cannot be issued under any circumstances.
So ...have you given them to the other person to look after? Have you looked in last year's handbag? Are they packed away with the Christmas decs? Come on you do this and find them by Friday.

Have you checked down the back of drawers? I've gone mad trying to find some papers before now and being bewildered as to where they could have gone, only to find they slipped down the back of the drawer they were in.
I also had to have a mad search for my last polling card, had put it out on a table ready for the election the following day and it turned out to be under the sofa, must have been blown off in the breeze when the windows were open as it was only light.
