Is It Illegal To Send A Nasty Birthday Card

Somebody really hurt me by damaging my reputation and spreading lies about me it has caused me great pain over a year unable to get over it. I know she has a special birthday coming up over the next few weeks and I wanted to send her a sympathy card instead of a birthday card saying that I hope unhappiness, misery and bad luck and ill health will become her over the next year for all the pain she has caused others, I know of 2 more people she has hurt badly. I know its not very nice but it will get it out of my system, it may mar her day slightly that is a postiive for me or it may not but I just want to make sure it is not illegal I dont see how it could be it surely is not illegal to wish you someone ill if you have no intention of doing it to yourself. But i would not do it if it was illegal Im paying enough with my own bitterness without paying other ways.

In 1988 - O god I know how everyone objects to personal experience as tho it somehow clouds advice rather than illuminates..... in 1988 one of the porters' ex wives sent a letter to the new girl friend

He showed me and was cheerful about who had written it - his ex wife and the police were cheerful about going around and warning her.

Historically - the habit grew up 1850-1860 of sending really malicious Valentines - and it almost wrecked the industry. Yeah OK off point - I know it will trigger 1,000 complaints

The way to do this gordie is to send the sweetest most OTT & gushing card you can find & inside write TO *----* & FROM gordie NO other garbage in there at all. She will not know what to make of it & you can sit back & snigger to your hearts content

Don't do it, gordie - you'll not only portray yourself as bad as she is, but you'll open up yourself for her coming back to you with more horribleness. Don't lower yourself to her level - just square your shoulders and leave it, leave it as it is. These things fester if you keep mulling over them, it won't make anything better. It's won't get it out of your system at all, you'll then either get a swift retribution from her or you'll be mulling it over for weeks more, wondering what she thought.

The fact that you are asking if it is illegal, Gordie, suggests to me that you may fear the consequences of an illegal act.
My advice is not to even dream of it.

Please don't lower yourself to her level, you're better than that. This is eating away at you while she has moved on and has probably forgotten all about it. Do the same, move on and put it down to experience. I firmly believe in what goes around comes around.
