Back Dated Historic Pay
1 Answers
The government introduced a cut off date 1July 15 for claims for historic back dated pay which could go back to 1998 to claim overtime payments should be calculated into an average and paid into holiday pay after the cut off date 1july15 can only go back 2 years to claim as this became about after a case was won this year at the European tribunal appeal . I was employed by the government in public sector from 1998 till 2011 I have a submitted a claim for historic payments before 1 July 15 meaning my claim could go back to 1998 for back dated pay I now have revived a letter saying my claim was in on time before 1july15 cut off but have been informed there is a 3month cut off date which If I was still employed with them but since I left 2011 I do not have a claim can anyone tell me is this law 3 month limit or do I still have a valid claim.
