Yes I would, I love it now, I dont suppose that will change in 30 years time. I'm surrounded by mountain, rivers and fields, the people are mostly friendly and I am happy with that.
As for perfection, you will be chasing that for ever!
other places - same ship different colour springs to mind - this phrase is usually mutated to same shot different colour which is kinda hinky and applies to the discussion here
most of my out of country relatives are / were in southern africa
and trying to get out - zumas corruption is causing another exodus - and I forebear from discussing things with them like:
" reallly ! I saw another drunk on the High Street and he was quite insensible by 10 am - I am sure he was polish you know"
as it is quite different down there -
" I went onto the High Street ( or Hoogstgraat) at 10 am and got shot "
type of thing.....
Yes, I would TWR.
Having said that, I often dream about living elsewhere, like Argentina, South Africa, Spain or Menorca, but only say it out loud when I'm really angry with OH.
I feel very lucky to have what I have here.
Well, since we haven't a clue what the UK will be like in 30 years' time, I really don't know. I can't think of anywhere I'd rather live at the moment, though; lots of places appear to have advantages but don't if you take everything into consideration. The grass is always greener etc.
