Little Bit Of A Worry
When I met MrF, he had a previous marriage behind him (incl 3 kids) and was living with his mother.
Along the line he moved in with me, we married and had 2 children. And eventually bought a house together, from '89 on it was may wages paid the mortgage as he had an horrendous industrial accident.
With everything that is going on here I am left wondering....if the inevitable happens (or when) does he previous family have any claim at all on any proceeds from our house, or will it just be divided between 'our' boys?
MrF brought nothing into the relationship from his 'old' life, other than a few bits of clothing.
Should have thought all this out years ago, shouldn't I ?

However, my experience tells me that if they are adult, of working age and financially independent from their father and the main beneficiary is his widow the chances of them receiving anything (particularly if the only asset is the house) are almost nil.
