Our neighbours have no curtains/blinds at their upstairs windows,we have seen them naked before and as a general rule it doesn't bother us and we know that its not a crime, but what happens when they are washing each other in the bathroom with the window wide open and can be seen by my 12 year old?
when told to close the window we are shouted out with , " you shouldn't
be looking then ,you perv "
we have reported them to the police but they dont want to know !
What can we do next?
Any advice greatly appreciated.

I think if he was showing his genitalia in full view then that could be indecent exposure.
If they are doing it for attention they'll love the thought of being on camera - ignore.
You would need to be able to prove intent to cause distress otherwise it is not an offence.
I'd speak to the landlord. A has been said the more impact they have on you the more they feel they are getting attention, I would ignore and they will get bored soon enough.
//An ex-copper or serving copper, serving or ex-marine has got absolutely NOTHING to do with this question.//

umm yeah it does actually -they have greater duties

serving copper - is also indictable for "misconduct in public office" - which would not be open to the authorities if he were ex

the marine example - alba - was just to vex
I did spend a few minutes verifying that Shipman and Allitt were both on their respective registers when convicted and so were strictly Dr Shipman and Nurse Allitt on the day of their conviction - and also when they did their dirty deeds

I did do a double take when the pt was raised
PP, the OP hasn't mentioned if their neighbours are serving police or military which is why I questioned that raised point.

The OP wants to know what they can do about their neighbours nakedness at an open window.

I bet Robbieswife is glad she asked now :-))
I would simply ignore them, as for your 12 year old son,if he has access to internet he will have seen much worse in all probability.
I agree ,ignore them ,your 12 year old most probably thinks they are weird ,I know that is what my grandson would say .x
Hello Minty you've been missed.

erm why not try prof stan care of the chief constable

professional standards
( say you cant photograph them as you are afraid of committing an offence yourself)
