Our neighbours have no curtains/blinds at their upstairs windows,we have seen them naked before and as a general rule it doesn't bother us and we know that its not a crime, but what happens when they are washing each other in the bathroom with the window wide open and can be seen by my 12 year old?
when told to close the window we are shouted out with , " you shouldn't
be looking then ,you perv "
we have reported them to the police but they dont want to know !
What can we do next?
Any advice greatly appreciated.

Don't look!
They can do exactly what they want inside their own home. I don't even think indecent exposure is still a possible charge.
As they told you if you don't want to see it don't look !
I would go back to the Police and try again.

we dont intentionally look !! but we feel like they are goading us into looking and i can assure you it is not a pretty sight !!!
The ironic thing is, the house is privately rented and is owned by a Policeman !!
^ No point mikey they are not doing anything wrong. They could have sex in full view and it is still not a crime. The only way the police would be interested is if they were having sex with an under age person and allowing people to see it.
If they're doing it for attention , then ignoring them is the best reaction.

They'll get bored.
Just ignore them, they are exhibitionists and the more people look at them the more they like it. Ignore them and they will lose interest after a while and not bother.
I would have thought you had a case if the kids could see.
But maybe you need to take photos to prove it.
I wouldn't recommend that.
Provided you are in a public place you are allowed to photograph anything, even if that is not in a public place. Having said that, simply appearing in the street and pointing a camera towards them might have an effect.
I'd be very wary of approaching someone's window whilst they are nude and taking photos - the tables could turn quite quickly.

Another route may be a discreet word to their Landlord.

I don't think the Landlord will be interested , provided the house is being kept in good condition and the rent is being paid and on time
My original advice stands too - ignore.
not that it matters too much, but from which window of your property are you looking out from?

Are neighbours on either side of you bothered or have they noticed?
Ah but they weren't collecting evidence AOG ;-)

///Ex-police officer jailed over helicopter film of couple having sex///

Not serving Police Officer.
He wasn't jailed for taking photos and video per se, he was jailed for misconduct in public office.
Would selling tickets be illegal ? :)
he wasn't an ex when he did it, Baldric.

robbieswife, net curtains? You, not them.
