If you book a package holiday months before when the accommodation is described as self catering. Cooker Pots pans cutlery plates etc etc. Then you get a update off the tour operator 2 months before departure, saying it’s changed to just kettle and toaster. Would you expect to be able to get a refund or compensation.

You would probably need to read through the terms and conditions of you contract as they may have covered their backs by putting in a clause allowing them to change certain changes.

I think you could make a case that the changes are so great it is basically a different contract ....

in which case attempts to enforce it may be defeated by the contract unfair clauses act ....
