If and when I move, do I need to have my address changed on my will? TIA

I don't know if you 'need' to do that, but it would surely make the work of those who deal with your will (when you go) easier.

I don't think that there is a legal requirement to do so. but it would help the executor if you did so.

No, but if it is being stored with Solicitors or Will writing Company you would need to let them know. Also the Executor if it is not one of the previously mentioned or family member.

I think changing the address would require a new will as the old address was the correct one at the time you made/signed/dated the document.

Just have a note kept with the will of your current address. IMV (no legal training!)

no requirement at all
or else the country would be full of potentially invalid wills

I liked the idea that Sue Grabbit and Run poor things would have no one to send their bills to!

it may be a good idea to update - especially if you have left the now vacated property to someone .

Peter - I meant changing the address written IN THE WILL !

The will is a legal document & you can't go about changing it willy nilly.
