What's the deal with returning a product purchased online when the product tags have been removed? Does it still fall within the 'cooling-off period' if it's been used?
My guess is if it's just a change of mind it's unlikely to still be covered, the retailer must value customer goodwill to a very large extent to take back used and then returned. But still worth asking.
If there is a fault then you don't need the cooling off period, depending on how long you've had it, the retailer or manufacturer has a responsibility to change/fix/whatever.
The various laws allow you to examine the goods bought online, over the phone, by post etc as you would in a shop. Any more than that and they cannot be returned unless not as described, faulty or poor quality
