I had a phone call from a police officer this morning who said a neighbour had reported me for showing my naked backside at the window of my house. I denied this and the officer said 'what if I told you there was video evidence? I again denied it. He then said I was naked in my front garden which is definately untrue and never happened. He then said 'don't do anything' and he would be in touch. I cannot afford a criminal record as it would cost me my job. Any advice?
If you didn't do it, stop worrying. There won't be any evidence and you won't get a criminal record .... as already suggested, it's probably just a prank call.
Good point. Nor I; but if the parcel deliver folk can deliver, and the shop workers stack shelves, I'd have thought speaking to the accused ought still be possible. Otherwise they might be postponing arrests until after lockdown ;-)
It was the police, they said they had the number from when I was assaulted about a year ago. Though I was not naked outside I was in my bedroom and the neighbour who reported me later shouted at me that I would 'get a visit from the police.' He seems to get the police to jump through hoops for him when they never even get back to anyone else.
So you did show your naked backside at your bedroom window then?
You won't get a criminal record unless you are convicted of something -and I don't think showing your bum in your own bedroom is a criminal offence
