Several months ago my brother was charged with reckless driving. He had to pay a fine, and is On probation for 2 years. He also has to do community service at a goodwill. I don't know exactly what is going on but he said that he had to meet with a Lieutenant at the police station and he set up community service for my brother. He gave my brother a sheet to write down his time and hours. He works at the goodwill for like 6 hours a week. So both the Lieutenant and the manager at goodwill told my brother that he could either write his time on the sheet. He clocks in and out on a Machine. And was told that the manager is able to copy his hours from the clock Machine, and send it to the Lieutenant. My brother said he didn't bother filling out the sheet because he was just gonna do it the easy way and have the manager copy his time and and send it. The manager who could do that has been on medical leave for like2 months, because she broke her hip. My brother is freaking out because he's afraid he'll go to jail for not writing his hours on the sheet. He told me he called the luetenant and left a message because he didn't get an answer. He explained his concerns. This was on Saturday. The Lieutenant called my brother back, but my brother says he somehow missed the call and called back but didn't get an answer. He's going to call again tomorrow. I mean I don't think he'll get in too much trouble because he's been clocking in and out every time he works so even if it'll be difficult, their should be some way to do that. What do you think? He's really scared and I'm a little scared for him. I also feel like assuming the Lieutenant listened to my brothers message that if he was gonna go to jail at all, then they'd have come and arrested him by now, but I guess there's a chance the Lieutenant didn't listen to it.

No.

Your sentence 'he could either write his name...' doesn't make sense as it doesn't say what the OR is.

probably🤣

What would have happened to the sheets if he had been signing them?

I am a little confused, is this the same brother you wanted to report to the police for animal abuse and other nefarious activities?

I think he would just take them to the Lieutenant if he filled in the sheet

No point in worrying about something you can't affect. See what tomorrow's conversation brings.
