Boris’s Latest Brainwave!! Indoor Alcohol Ban!!
43 Answers
Life after lockdown: Alcohol could be BANNED from pubs in Apri - this was last night.
He’s now decided, since last night that he WILL now allow pubs to open in April and sell alcohol , but still wants a ban on indoor alcohol!! Why?? And now on earth is he going to implement this??
We can’t get our hair cut, can’t get our nails done, can’t go to a restaurant, cafe or pub, can’t go clothes shopping and he now wants to do this? Has he completely lose plot??

Pubs are shut now so it's not as if things are going to be tightened.
I certainly thing when pubs reopen it'll be table service only

And I certainly hope so. I have been using table service whenever I can - in fact its availability often determines my choice of pub and Covid made it more widely available. Queuing at the bar is a pain. But to suggest pubs - which have been forcibly closed for much of the past ten months - should open but be unable to sell alcohol is an absolute joke. Many of them will not bother - but perhaps that's the idea.

A dont really mind if Boris gets the blame but am pretty sure Nicola and Mark wont be laxer than him. In Wales we saw what happened when pubs served alcohol again- Cardiff was full of drunken crowds. But after a while the novelty might wear off and things may calm down. Anywat better safe than sorry until most are vaxed and infections are right down
