my nephew has been asking me many questions about premium rate numbers and he wanted to know how old you have to be to set up a premium rate phone line he is 18 and i would like to know if he can or cannot set one up any help please thanks

Yes he can set one up, and so can you. It's simple enough, there are lots of packages to choose from. Just google premium rate providers and the world is your oyster.

i contacted BT a few years ago..

im not sure if you are in the uk?

just ring up your telephone provider and ask them.. they will know who you need to talk to, if you wnat to shop around for a quote, ring other providers too.
