Director Liability?

I am a defendant in a civil legal case.

I am defending myself.

I need to find out if there have been any legal precedents set about director liability on a certain issue. I am well aware of the wrongful trading laws that would leave a director open to personal prosecution but this is on a different matter.

Is there a database as such that I can search for precedents?

I obviously can't go into too much detail here but any help you can offer will be very much appreciated!
