I have been renting land for almost 25 years.

2 years ago the owner of the land said in an e-mail I could buy the land for $56,000.00 . She said I could pay extra each month in addition to my regular rent and she would put in in a savings account in both our names until I could get enough saved to buy the land. I have a mobile home I own on this land. SHe put $500 every other month into CD's in both names . Last week someone knocked on my door telling me THEY are buying this land. I told them they can't that I have been paying for 2 years and have an agreement with her to buy it at a set price.
This person offered her more then what she told me in the e-mail I could buy it for so she is selling it to them. Isn't our agreement, although done through e-mail binding? Wouldn't her taking my money for 2 years show Intent?

You've posted your question on a UK-based board but your reference to dollars suggests that you're overseas. (I'm guessing that you're in the USA but, of course, you might be in Canada or elsewhere).
The obvious problem is that most of the contributors to this site (myself included) are more familiar with UK law than with that of the USA. A further complication (assuming that you do live in the USA) is that laws can vary from state to state.
I suggest that you need to check whether your state has adopted the Uniform Electronic Transactions Act. It's likely that this Act, or something similar, will be in force where you live and you may well be able to prove that a binding contract exists:

Not to mention my mobile home being so old can not be moved any longer so it would have to be sent to the recyclers and likely cost me thousands of dollars. Now because I said I am getting a lawyer(soliciter) she screamed at me she will now NEVER sell it to me. I have no other home. myself and my 2 cats can't afford to rent due to the expense. Thank you all for your kind words and I will let you all kow how this story unfolds and end.
