building and health code responsiblity

husband and wife manintain separate residences-huband's warehouse has many buidling, fire and heath code violations-is his wife responbile? He had it in this condition before nuptials. He rentsit-so would it be his responsiblityor owners?

Confusing. Who is the director of the company? If his wife has nothing to do with the company then how could she be liable for anything going wrong. Why are they still married if they dont live together? What exactly was in the 'nuptials'?

As between the husband and the warehouse owners, the responsibility depends on what is in the lease of the premises.

It is difficult to see how the wife could have any responsibility unless she is a company director with her husband or there is some other formal agreement between them, or the lease is in joint names (which - from what you say - is unlikely).
