Legal gap distance between desks...

I am sure that there is a law or regulation for the workplace that states the legal gap/distance between desks or between a desk and a wall for the safe exit of an employee in the event of an evacuation.

I called HSE and they didnt think there was one. I am sure it was 18 inches. Anyone know?

i am a H&S rep we have been told by the HSA 1 meter, clear walk way. i hope this helps
