pellet guns
I think thats what they are called, the ones that shoot little yellow balls, are kids allowed to have them? some kids were messing around near my house and threw something in the garden, I shouted at them so they ran off then they were coming back with one of these guns then they saw me and ran off again. Anyway my question is, are they even allowed to have one?

Also saying you could be arrested!! Thought it was a bit daft stating it in the book when almost every novelty shop in blackpool are still allowd to sell them.
So no, going by the brochure they aren't allowd them in public.

I remember seeing them for sale in out local cheapo shop and was shocked to see that they were so cheap and readily available to kids. There was a sign saying that they wouldn't sell to any kids under 16! So what! There are a hell of a lot of irresponsible 16 year olds out there (I know there are very sensible ones too) Since then I have seen them for sale more and more and just can't believe that they are allowed to be sold! They should be banned, esp when you hear stories like Goods.
Funnily enough Wingnut, this has all started happening since a gadget shop in town has started selling a variety of them. 25 is the cost, and these things look smart, I can imagine the attraction to young lads. My cat was shot in the small hours so I doubt very much that whoever shot GIz was under 16.
