2 Answers
For instance, could I say my husband, but if he can't do it my children between them.
Can 2 people be given joint power of attorney?
When my sister and I acted as executors for me fathers will I signed over powers to my sister as she lived nearer, can you do this with power of attorney?
What if you gave power of attorney to 2 people but when the time came only one was mentally capable?

As far as i can remember from what the solicitor said, i could in theory still sign for things on my own (if, for example they were in another country and needed me to sign for something) but the "joint" bit ensures big decisions like selling a house are at least talked over with the other. If you put the power of attourney in place you have an obligation to inform someone o other (official body, but i cant remember who!)
