Court Procedure
0 Answers
A relative received a summons with incorrect details on it, due to this a solicitor was contacted who advised that the summons errors would be classed as human error but ask for the evidence bundle to see if any other errors had been made.
The evidence bundle included a form with no witness signature although it clearly shows this is necessary and omited 2 other forms totally, both these forms are essential to the case.
A letter has now been received from thier solicitor saying that ' he has now received the full file of evidence from CPS and that shows one of the 2 forms'.
Before they go back to thier solicitor regarding the other forms they want to know why the full file of evidence was not produced in the first place and who has requested it now? their solicitor or the prosecuting solicitor, the court or who.
Thanks for any replies regarding the court procedures.
