What is the likley outcome ...
My Husband was recently interviewed by police as a man had claimed my husband had tried to run him over.
To cut a long story short husband was carrying out some work on flood damaged property and to exit the property had to move a barrier in place by the council, was accosted by an f'ing and blinding man working for the housing association who proceeded to jump on his bonnet shouting you cant go this way. So to avoid confrontation husband just drove off and has a witness to this effect.
However this guy and several of his work colleagues say different. So witness statements have been collated and husband interviewed etc.
He phoned police last week for an update and was told they are still looking at the evidence but he will possibly be charged for Assault or Driving without due care and attention which I find ridiculus when it is a pack of lies.
On top of this they guy is now trying to claim loss of earnings (apparently his leg was injured) from the company my husband works for, this guy and his family are renound for making claims!
Now my hubby is worried to death and very stressed about what will happen, he has no criminal record and has never so much as been stopped by the police.
Does anyone have any idea what the likley outcome is if my husband is charged?! Thanks.

If he's done for causing injury to someone by dangerous driving then that can get a bigger fine or prison sentence of up to 6 months.
You say there was a witness who backs up what your husband says, then he may be ok.
