Tenancy Agreement in Scotland
1 Answers
My Sister lives abroad but she has a flat in Scotland which she'd like to rent out. She has asked me to help her. We have a Short Assured Tenancy Agreement for the tenant to sign. Is it legal (in Scotland) for me to sign the form as 'Landlord'? Rather than have to get the tenant to sign it then send it to her to sign - which would take a few days.

I am presuming that you will be dealing with the rental income and all contact with the tenants. I would go with the safer option of havingher sign it though.
