Hi,

In late December I purchased (online) a DVD from a company called DVD4Music. com. 2 weks ago I had still not received my DVD so I sent them an email asking why. They replied to me apologising for the delay and stating that the DVD had been deleted, but they had managed to source the disc from elswhere and that I should receive my DVD within a few days. I have still not received my DVD. I have sent numerous emails to them, but I have had no reply whatsoever. I only paid 12 for the DVD, but this is irrelevant, and feel as though I have been ripped off by a 'dodgy' company.

I would like to make a complaint to an official body about this company, but I have absolutely no idea who I need to make this complaint to.

Any advice would be most appreciated.

if you paid by credit card, you might be able to get your money back from the credit card company
Not for 12 unfortunately

I'm waiting for a PS2 game from Play.com but I do have the option to cancel my order via their web site. Ordered it in Dec and the release date has been put back twice now

If you;re not happy to wait, then ask the to cancel your order and creidt your card
It depends on your credit card company - mine has successfully recovered small amounts for me more than once - give it a go!
Hi

I would send them a curt email saying that they have 7 days to issue you with a full refund or you will pass on all your transaction details to-

1. Police- potential fraud
2. Trading standards
3. Credit/debit card company
4. BBC Watchdog

... for a full investigation.

I had a similar problem with a book company online, once I issued them potentially damaging ultimatums, my money was reimbursed almost immediatley.

Good luck

J
