5 Answers
Hiya.
My boyfriend and I have decided to get a place together. I am 17 and he is 19. First question.. Is it true that I can not be on the tenancy agreement as I am under 18? Secondly... If this is true is there anyway he can be on the tenancy agreement but I can live there as well?
Please respond as soon as possible, gonna be well gutted!
Thanks

Just realise this means you have no rights to the property and he could throw you out with very little notice if it all goes wrong. How long til you turn 18? Might be worth waiting til then for peace of mind?
Good for you, Louise, not everyone is so lucky as to be able to leave home so soon. Yes, what the other 2 have said is right, and your boyfriend will have to sign all the papers, and you will have to trust him not to throw you out. I am sure he will not do that, as you are taking the step to move in together.
One of my friends got married at 17, and recently celebrated her 40th wedding anniversary, and she and her husband have 3 children. So you can make it work: I am 35 and still single, so wish you best of luck.
