3 Answers
My sister is on the council transfer list,She,s been on it since september,When she went into the council the other day to check her progres the council told her she,d have to fill in the forms again because apparently the council sent her a letter in january in this letter she had to sign to say she still wanted to be on the transfer list,But she never recieved this letter she,s desparate to move so of course would have signed it and sent it straight back,Is there anything she can do about this? Can it be proven they sent the letter or can it be proven that the post office didnt post it? I cant imagine theres much she can do i just hate saying her so upset but i guess im clutching at straws here, Any advice please.

All she can do is try to appeal to their better nature and ask to be instated back into list where she was.
Word of advice, if she is that desperate she ought to check up on her position in list every 6-8 weeks rather than leave it 9 months before checking. At least then, if paperwork has gone astray, she has a better chance of finding out before any major damage has occured.
