my dad was recently involved in a motorbike accident. a guy driving a van was travelling the opposite way to my dad. the van driver overtook 2 cars and a tractor, on a blind bend, with double white lines. this caused my dad to swerve. it was as serious accident. the van driver reversed his van back behind the tractor before th police arrived, and there are 5 witnesses of the accident. he is pleading not guilty. what is his punishment likeley to be should he be found guilty which no doubt he should be

I don't know the answer, but that is shocking. is your dad okay?
What is he pleading not guilty to exactly??

In other words what was the charge?
It would depend on the judge if he was to be found guilty (probably of driving without due care and attention) which is likely to result in points on his licence only.
