A neigbour has built a consevatory onto the back of their house, when they are sitting in it they look directly into my garden and patio area.
If I look in their direction but not at them they say we are being nosey but they will not except that they are constantly looking at us which is becomming uncomfatable.
What can we do?

Tell them they look at you as much as you look at them...
My kitchen looks directly into my neighbours kitchen, dining room and lounge from only about 30 ft. And to be honest we can be looking at each other and not even realise it. You just get used to looking without seeing if you know what I mean.
Tell them to get blinds or something if they are bothered.

forgot to mention, they have blinds up, I also have a fence up but to totally obscure them would mean making it higher upto 8 ft but then I would lose the sun.
Wonkon-Wonk..Don't agree, it means that they can sit and look into my garden but because they are in their 'house' I must not look in their direction as I clearly stated!!!!!!!!!!
Doc-Spock...sorry for the spelling mistakes, just answer my question..thanks.

Try sitting in your garden looking through a pair of binoculars - if they ask or complain then you are simply bird watching which you are free to do in your own back garden. If they don't like it then they will simply have to fork out their own money on finding a solution that is suitable to them. You should not have to spend your own money erecting fences when your garden was obviously there before the conservatory!
What a problemyour neighbours have, are they paranoid about you in your garden?
If they think you are watching them and I'm sure you are not, just let them get on with it.
Don't even get into a discussion about it.
You have every right to be in your garden doing whatever, and they seem to me to be quite hyper-sensitive about you being there . If they have blinds they can always close them or go and sit inside
Of course you wil be aware of their presence when you are in your garden, you cannot really avoid being, but I am sure that you don't stand and stare in to their place.
So don't spend any money altering what you have and enjoy.Don't let them get to you.
They can always move if it upsets them so much.
Have a similar situation, my neighbour's living room window looks directly into mine, do I care, not at all.I just don't run around in the nuddy and I hope she won't either, but at the end of the day we hardly notice each other, and if we do we wave.
Good luck.
