does anyone know,,how many hours or how much money u can earn before it affects your housing benefit,,, she lives alone so pretty sure after a certain amount she cud get a rebate or something?? thnx
A person is entitled to work for 16.5 hours per week before it affects a claim for housing benefit. Take advice from your local Citizens' Advice Bureau if you are uncertain about your claim. On the other hand, your local council housing benefits section will also provide you with qualified advice.
Is this right? Surely teh earnings are relevant too. Someone working 15 hours a week could earn 300 a week. Surely that would affect their housing benefit?
