I was looking at some old photos on the internet with a friend when we found what looks like an old postcard of a pub and 2 women and a child stood nearby. Her grandparents owned the pub and judging by the clothes worn the photo would have been taken around that time.

We tried to get a print but couldn't because, I think, of a copyright at the base of the postcard, the other photos before and after can be printed.

AS the postcard looks to have been taken around the 1920 or 30s I would have thought the copyright would have expired and the person who took the photo would have died, or can not be traced.

What can I do to remove the copyright or trace who owns it. We want a print as the people could be relations, grandparents or great grandmother.

If it was on the internet I would e-mail the person who put it on and ask for what you want. The worst they can say is no.
