My grandmother died recently leaving one son and two grandchildren. She has left a lot of money. Her son coerced her into leaving everything to him. Can the grandchildren contest this in Scottish law? Thanks
Was there a will? Was it properly executed? It is common for parents to leave themoney to their children. Is there evidence (other than just the grandchildren's word for it) that there was foul play?
It would appear quite normal for a mother to leave her money to her son, it is then up to him to make a will in favour of the next generation if he so chooses. I am somewhat surprised that the grandchildren are disputing this will.
