Having been assualted at work resulting in a very badly swollen and bruised face and a small scar on the eyebrow.....any ideas on the compensation pay out ? Ta.

From whom? The employer, the person who assaulted you, or the CICB?

Did you have to take time off work? Have you taken photographs?

I was a staff memeber assualted by a patient, photos were taken and yes 4 weeks off work for swelling and blackness to go. compensation from CICB. Thanks.

Did you get full pay whilst off sick? Is the patient being prosecuted by the police for assualt?

Yes full pay while off, former patient charged with ABH awaiting court.

For injuries that you describe, there must be at least three different injuries and at least one must have residual effects after 6 weeks.

The injuries must also have made it necessary to see a doctor at least twice within that 6 week period.

�1000 from the CICA if you qualify.

The court could award you damages from the defendant, in which case compensation will be paid by him and the CICA.
