Neighbour from hell staring into our property!

Hi all we've had ongoing problems with our neighbours from hell since 2006. This has been from racial harassment, to anti-social behaviour, intimadation etc

Our housing association are aware of everything & all incidents have been logged with them & the police.

My question is the man from next door as far as we can remember, has always looked into our property, being very intrusive, but today he stopped by our back gate & analysed the house!
Can we do anything about this?

If he is on public property he can take photos of your house with a long range lens, or use a telescope and not break any laws.

However, if this makes you feel intimated, threatened or harassed and he doesn't stop when you ask him to, he is breaking laws.

But the act of looking onto or into your property is in itself, lawful

Just have a hose pipe handy, next time spray him and do it each time. Even dumb animals eventually learn.

Sonak ... causing you fear or alarm is a Breach of the Peace and the Police should take action. They should give him a warning first and if he keeps doing it he can be charged
