can work ring me if i am off sick
i have been off now for 6 months due to a spinal opp.
my doc has said i was able to go back to work on a phase to return and light duties but work will not let me due to insurance reasons. they keep ringing me at home to see what is going on. Thay say i can not return untill i an fully fit and able to carry out the job i left, has anybody any advise please.

of course they can call you. They want to be kept updated on whats happening.
Just talk to them and keep them informed.

Ask your doctor for an estimated date when he feels you would/should be fit enough to return to work and then let them know.

If there are no light duties that you can carry out at work then there is little to be done.

I imagin that at some point they will look into capability if you don't give them a time frame for returning.
