Selling mum's house with power of attorney
My mother has alzheimers and I have enduring power of attorney. She permanently lives in a care home and I want to sell her house. The solicitor has asked for verification of her identity. She has no passport or driving license so he wants a bank statement/ utility bill in her name at the care home address. She has no post at the care home - all her post comes to me. What can I provide instead? As I have enduring POA isn't it my ID he needs to verify and not mums?
