If it's Magistrates Court, the possible punishment is up to six months imprisonment, unlikely for a first offence, or a fine, more likely.

If Crown Court, it's up to five years on conviction.

you dont say much about the story outlineing the offence if you did maybe able to get a better idea of what te outcome maybe also how old are you?

My personal view is that if you cause bodily harm to somebody, without proper justification, you should be locked up.

Sadly, that is not what happens.
