The Land Registry form number to alter the ownership on title deeds
Following a divorce I need to arrange for the title deeds on a property to be amended from joint names to the sole name. I have the court order confirming the name so there should not be a stamp duty etc payable.

You will need a Solicitor to draft a TR1 for the Transfer of Equity, this will be signed by both parties and your Solicitor will need to prepare an SDLT1 form (HMRC) - he should state "nil" for the Stamp Duty and send a certified copy of the Court Order to Inland Revenue. Also, the Transfer Deed will state (in the money section) "Subject to the terms of a Consent Order dated..... and issued in the.....County Court. Registration is currently taking about 3 weeks.
