gbh section 20 without intent?

My brother assaulted me and he has been charged with gbh section 20 without intent?

When I made the complaint to the police I told the female officer that I didn't want to make a big deal ofit as my mother suffers very badly with depression. She said they had to proceed because I made a statement.

It was over a week before my brother was arrested and on the morning they asked my parents could he return home and then said yes.

So they took him in, he pleaded guilty and they let him home, but if he as much as raises his voice he will be taken into custody. He has been in contact with his socilitior and his socilitor finds it very odd that they allowed him to return home.

It is his first offence, he pleaded guilty straight away?

Myself and my other brother who witnessed the attack have withdrawn our statement.

I have a slight fractured arm, fractured rib and bruising.

What will happen?
