Hi

This scenario happened to me a couple of weeks ago:

Dawn Raid by Police and Trading Standards
Approx 30 items of counterfeit jewellery seized
Approx 150 items sold on ebay for between £25 and £30
Items if genuine retail for between £200 and £300 hence a "loss" to the industry of between £35000 and £50,000.00
Questioned at police station they are awaiting forensics from a laptop (nothing on it)

Never been in trouble before

Any idea of likely punishment?

Thanks

I don't but many people would do.
Well you know what they say about a fool and his money....
Yes, which is why laws are in place to protect these numpties.
Come off it!

- they just want to try to fool people with a bit of fake bling!

Ever downloaded a movie or music another-view or is that OK piracy?
it's a shame for those that are genuinely taken in. some could be spending their pension on the grand-children's Christmas pressies.. who will, of course, immediately know they're fakes.
Im not saying Jimmy is in the wrong, he is and im sure he knows it by now too ;-)

However I'll hold my hand up and admit if i was offered hooky goods and they looked decent enough, i'd buy them.

I'm sure quite a few people would too (and infact obviously have as far as Jimmy's concerned!). I'm just slightly annoyed at the holier than thou attitude of some posters here.
Bloody good copies though Jake....
Exactly. Yet we are to believe Jimmy is a loveable rogue?
Throw the book at him.
That's right AV -throw the book at him ! Cut off his g**lies -a good spell in the army would do him the power of good, what ! I didn't get where I am today etc etc....and another thing, the youth of today! dizzzz-----GUSTING !
I ordered a bracelet from Ebay, I don't think they said it was a particular make but it looked nice and classy. as soon as I opened the box I could see it was cheap tat. I gave it to my friend's daughter who happened to be there at the time (my daughter also thought it was bloody awful).

lesson learned.
Who mentioned a lovable rogue?

You seem to be under the impression that I and others who disagree with you think that Jimmy 'ere should just be a ticking off and be told to be on his way, not at all.

But im alsonot hypocritical to lambast the guy whilst downloading music and films ( to use an example) as others may be doing.
That's more like it :-)
..or putting it another way: "let he who is without sin..."
BOO, I can't see the point of him asking " Any idea of likely punishment? " now, after he's done the deed, he probably thought he would never get caught !!!
another-view gets a pile of rocks ready.
" he probably thought he would never get caught !!! "

Does that qualify as the Daft Statement of the Week" Bobbi? ;-)
I believe we all have done something like downlaod a fav song???
but when you get caught...well????
LOL@BOO
so why the f*** bleat on about it then ,,I mean JC !
JimmyCooper, lol at your previous post..

I don't download films and songs illegally B00,i use official channels for my music downloads, such as iTunes and Amazon etc.
I have never downloaded a film, illegally or legally.
I think regular abers will be familiar with my rants on the subject of illegal downloads.lol
