I along with others was assigned to a new firm under the TUPE regulations a couple of months ago,we have now been informed that our original firm wants to take us back on.Anyone aware of the proceedure,if we want to return do we need to hand notice in,or is there some legal amount of time involved for it to become permanent at the new firm. Thanks for any responses.

The employers will work it between them. Under no circumstances should you resign - if this is suggested by either of the two employers there is something fishy going on and you should speak to ACAS.
