I have received my 2011 census form.
Notes state that it will not be shared with any other government body but will be used to help local governments access their towns needs etc.
Do they give names or just the number statistics to them.

where you live and where you work can build up a commuter pattern so that planners can put in place any action needed to remove traffic bottle necks or improve public transport.

People are just getting paranoid about ID theft, I would put money that a quick search of the net would throw up more info on most people than they knew they had released anyway, at least the Census is sort private and is only asking for the basics.
Distance travelled to work
Its not really for today hm, in years to come they'll know that JB Brown employed 123 people its info to let people know about their heritage.,how many owned cars, your family one day may look this info up when doing a family tree. How many were in work, where did they work? All Qs have a relavence.

I am just about to move into my first house in sept this year, I often find what with keeping moving from rental to rental that companies say 'we have no official record of you at that property' I assume this is through the electoral register? So what I am getting at is I currently own the house I have bought i just can't live there till building work is done but I want to start filling out paperwork in line with me being there in the future, so the electoral register I will try to fill out for the new house instead of the address down the road we are currently renting, but will filling out the census for an address I will only briefly be at cause me any long term problems as the next 5o years will be in the new house, should I fill it out for the new address?

Kloofnek // Notes state that it will not be shared with any other government body //

The info is going to America to be processed so i would have my doubts over those notes
