Never watched it, but the clue is in the scheduling- new series, two episodes back-to-back at 10.30 and 11.00pm. Not going to be good, is it?

Blimey, I didn't even realise this was still being made - especially when I'm sure they said it was cancelled a couple of years ago! It was starting to fade by series 6. I just caught a bit of this new series on Iplayer and it really is terrible. Now that Jonny, Louise and Janet have gone it isn't the same and the new characters are not funny at all.

The original was great, but yes, around the time of the shark attack the scripts became so so. Worth watching for the actresses though ;-) Not seen any new episodes.

I also hadn't realised it was still running and assumed whenever it was scheduled it must be repeats, but found out they're new. I gather two of the original characters are still in it. After something's run that long, it's not surprising it goes off. Very few long-running shows can manage to keep the standard up.
