I find him a bit boring and sometimes sychophantic, sorry, Bobbs. I don't think he's half as funny as proper Scousers. I loved Lily Savage, though.

He is really lovely in person too. Met him at his book signing in Dublin a few years ago, he was so friendly and funny. Really lovely man. I really really felt for him when poor little Buster passed away he was so broken hearted.

Lamb, bobbi? what, as a pet?

Reminds me of when we went to the See the Lambs open day at our local farm a few years ago. The little children got to hold the tiny cuddly new lambs - I got a damned great lamb with a baleful look in his eye, and wee marks all down his legs....
