Anyone see it last night?
Twitter is buzzing with it
Almost a fight and Steve Coogan
Is there a catch up facility on sky like the one on virgin?

I think it was more the NOW journo, who did himself no favours by what he said.
For example he said that if you really wanted to find out what is happening in someones life what better way than to listen to their voicemail messages, as though it was the most natural thing in the world to snoop into someones private life.
Greg Dyke and Steve Coogan both said in effect "what on earth gives you the right".
Many celebrities have had private and personal information published by these scum newspapers so have a right to be angry.

OK, perhaps if you were expecting a Jerry Springer style confrontation/fight, then you would have been disappointed. I do think that had the table not been there, Coogan might well have landed one on MacMullen at one point - which is pretty much like a fight by Newsnight standards :)
DTXwordfan - that quoted descriptor does indeed seem to sum up the man :)
